Yato-sama is a god, he is barely that. He is not known by many humans, he doesn't have a shrine to himself and is like a stray, homeless person living off the streets of Japan. He advertises in graffiti to fulfil any wishes people may ask and gets odd jobs which he completes for 5 Yen. As a god he also has a responsibility to kill Ayakashi which roam around and cause people harm. The Ayakashi are corrupted spirits which seek to corrupt humans to do terrible things either hurt others or kill themselves. During one of Yato-sama's lesser errands he is tasked to find a lost cat to fulfil a little boy's wish. Yato-sama, in pursuit of the cat jumps in front of a bus. A girl ' Hiyori ' notices this and jumps to save him, she saves Yato-sama from being hit by the bus but she herself is hit by it. Gravity is solved, they found a new element which is anti gravitational. They started using them in shoes to enable people to fly. In Japan, this however works only in the four southern islands of the Japanese archipelago for some reason. Through this advancement, a sport is developed around it called Flying Circus. Rules are simple: fly and reach 4 flying buoys like in baseball, reach a buoy to earn a point. Tapping on the opponent’s back can also earn a point. Meet Kurashina Asuka:  a pink haired airhead who moves to one of the four islands.   She starts learning how to fly and incidentally she is pulled into the world of flying circus.  The trainers realize that she is a natural and she revives interest in the sport in her school again. I just started watching The Newsroom, Like everybody else I got into it by watching the opening scene on youtube. To sum it up: The Newsroom is awesome. Aaron Sorkin is awesome. Jeff Daniels is brilliant and so is Emily Mortimer. To explain it further: After an outburst which is uncharacteristic of the soft and polite news anchor Will McAvoy in a public forum, the crew of his show "News Night" jump ship. The president of the company takes this opportunity to build what he deems to be "the best damn news program in the world". He orchestrates a scenario which forces Will McAvoy to work with his ex-girlfriend MacKenzie McHale as his Executive Producer.  The couple are at odds at first but come together and create a new show because of their mutual admiration of the public service "News". Working!! is an anime about the interesting things that happen in a family restaurant called Wagnaria, primarily about the staff that work there. Every character is quirky in someway or the other and it makes for some good comedy and drama. I’d like to go over the characters in the series in the order of their importance and talk about how I feel about them. Taneshima Popura: Taneshima is a high school senior who is very short, she is confused for an elementary student most of the time.  She is very upbeat and works hard, but has a huge complex about her height and is sometimes pranked upon by fellow workers in Wagnaria. Takanashi Souta: Takanashi is a junior to Taneshima and is recruited by her to work in Wagnaria at the start of the series. Tachibana Mei is a quiet unassuming girl, Kurosawa Yamato is tall, handsome popular boy. They both attend the same high school. Tachibana avoids friends as she feels they would eventually betray her and what they say now isn’t true because of a bad incident in middle school. Kurosawa is popular and is approached by a lot of girls and he behaves friendly without refusing their advances. They are polar opposites and when they meet, Kurosawa is intrigued and he falls for her. Kurosawa confesses his feelings right away, Tachibana doesn’t acknowledge him at first but accepts him later.
